On the road again!

Hello friends and family!

I know it has been a while since I last posted (about a year actually), but I am back at it again!

Tomorrow (Friday, March 10) I have the incredible opportunity to leave for Queretaro, Mexico to serve for just over a week at a Mission for youth that have unstable home lives.  The mission is a boarding school and the kids live there year round being taught, fed, housed and cared for by members of the SOLT (Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity) religious community and volunteers. Click here to visit their website and learn more!

My friend Abby and I (picture below) will be going together and will have the opportunity to serve these kids in any way we can, whether that is through playing soccer, hair braiding, teaching them English or just being there to listen!  We don’t know what the week holds for us, but we are very excited (and slightly nervous) to take on the adventure!

While we are there we will have the opportunity to visit Our Lady of Guadalupe!!  I would love to be able to bring your prayer intentions with me and offer them up through Our Lady to her Son in prayer.  It has always been said that if you want to get to know Jesus better and become closer to Him, that we should draw closer to His Mother, Mary, and that she will lead us to her Son.  So, if you have any prayer intentions please send them my way, email, text, Facebook, owl, whatever you prefer! (Note: if you send me your intentions via owl I will pray extra for you because you win!!)

I will try my best to post updates along the way and share my travels with anyone interested, it should post out to Facebook so you can follow along there, or subscribe to my blog page here and you will receive an email update when I post!

Please pray for safe travels!

Jenna
